My God Answers Prayer

I thought it might be fun to do a small series about what my God is. This post will just be verses about how God answers prayers and for us to use as a great reminder. Feel free to comment below which verses have helped you remember that God answers your prayers (maybe not always in the way you were asking) or a story about how He has answered.

 Psalm 86: 6 - 7
Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer and attend to the voice of my supplications. I will call upon thee for thou wilt answer me.

 Psalm 116:1 - 2
I love the Lord because he ahth heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore I will call upon him as long as I live.

 Psalm 138:3
In the day when I cried thou answered me, and strengthened me with strength in my soul.

 Jeremiah 33:3
Call unto me and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

 1 Peter 3:12
For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous and his ears are open unto their prayers but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

My God Wants Me To Trust Him

Lately I've been feeling really worried about a procedure I have coming up. In January it seemed like such a far off thing but now as the days tick by I'm getting so nervous. I have feelings of doubt and fear; what if this doesn't work? How are we going to pay for all this? What if things go wrong? What if I die? All extremely scary stuff. But then I remember that people go through this all the time, every day. I'm going to be ok no matter the outcome because my trust is in God and not the doctors.  Psalm 37:5 Commit everything you do to the Lord; trust Him and He will help you. Christmas Jar DIY

I really should have made a video but I didn't have time and I really wanted to get this up before Christmas is too far over.   I'm going to be making four Christmas jars filled with goodies to give out as little gifts with Christmas cards. I'll be making the Grinch, Santa, Rudolph, and Frosty. This is not my original idea, I found this online.   Supplies Needed: Jelly jars (8oz) in the quantity of your desire Something to fill the jar with. I used eatable items for each.  Hot glue gun For Santa: Craft Belt Buckle Black Ribbon Red & White Mints Instructions: Fill jar with the red & white mints. Cut a black ribbon the width of the jar and then thread on a craft belt buckle. I found the belt buckles at Hobby Lobby. Hot glue the ribbons with the buckle around the middle of the jar.
