Nursery Sneak Peek

We’re still organizing the nursery so I didn't take full pictures of the room but here's a few sneak peek photos of what we have set up so far. Our room isn't really "themed" but it's painted mint and grey and so we kept those colors in mind went we bought accessories.

This is the girls' closet. We were so blessed to have friends and family give us hand me downs on top of all the new clothing items we received from the baby showers. They have more than enough, I just hope I'm able to take pictures of them in everything before they outgrow them!!

This is their changing table (before) When we had our showers we just put everything up and out of the way but then I realized we needed to get a system going in here so we bought small baskets from the dollar store and were able to organize the little stuff. I actually love the way it came together

(and after) Top is their changing pad - cover is from Babies R Us "woodland" themed. It has bears, deer and arrows. 2nd shelf has their wipes, cloth diapers and inserts. Yes - we're doing cloth diapers with twins and No - we're not crazy. 3rd shelf is a basket full of their rattles, teething toys and other fun stuff, a basket of blankets and their bibs plus my baby carrier wraps (which I can't wait to use)! On the sides we have a purple basket full of newborn disposable diapers and the pink basket is size 1 diapers - we got these at a shower diaper cake. On the other side we have our diaper genie and so far I like it! It's easy to use and easy to assemble. We'll see how well it keeps in the smell!!

We used a couple more baskets under the crib to keep all their little socks and tights together as well as the burp cloths, wash clothes etc.

This might be my favorite part of the entire nursery... I love their little crib. I think it's just so cute. The little lambs are from my in-laws (pink for A, purple for B). The blankets are from a co-worker and they are the softest things I've ever felt. Crib bumpers are from babies R us. I can't wait to get to put my girls in here!!

This is the opposite side of the crib. There's a bed below the shelf which is where I'll be spending most of my time. We put up all their little books they received from the showers along with their bath supplies. I plan on making my own wipes so these supplies will come in handy.

So there ya go! Our little nursery is finally coming together and now that it is I can't wait to have some babies to put in it. :)

Free Samples and Offers

I wanted to get this out soon as possible as I know the Holidays are upon us and everyone is looking to save some money this time of year. This post is geared towards parents of multiples but if you have singletons please feel free to reach out to the companies below too for some free samples and offers, but please be aware some offers might not apply to you. If you’re like me then the minute your babies were born you were online looking at deals and ways to save money. I came across a lot of blog posts and articles stating if you contact this company then they will send you this product free. I thought how true is this? So I put them to the test. I took many lists from the internet and combined it into one giant list of baby product companies; I then emailed and mailed each company requesting free samples due to the birth of my twin girls. Below you will find the responses I received. Some companies were great, while others were….off putting. I included coupon codes I found o...

My God Wants Me To Trust Him

Lately I've been feeling really worried about a procedure I have coming up. In January it seemed like such a far off thing but now as the days tick by I'm getting so nervous. I have feelings of doubt and fear; what if this doesn't work? How are we going to pay for all this? What if things go wrong? What if I die? All extremely scary stuff. But then I remember that people go through this all the time, every day. I'm going to be ok no matter the outcome because my trust is in God and not the doctors.  Psalm 37:5 Commit everything you do to the Lord; trust Him and He will help you. Psalm 56:3 - 4 Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God I will praise His word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.  Psalm 56:9 - 13 When I cry out to You, then my enemies will turn back; this I know, because God is for me. In God I will praise His Word, in the Lord I will praise His word, in God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What...
