Who Can Find A Virtuous Woman?

Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts her; so he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil all the days of her life.
Proverbs 31:10-12

Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.
Mark 11:24-25

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 4:32

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
Matthew 7:7-8

Through wisdom a house is built, and by understand it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with precious and pleasant riches.
Proverbs 24:3-4

Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Galatians 6:9

While on my journey to be the best wife I can be to my husband, these verses have come to my mind a lot lately. I think it is easy for women to forget that our husbands are not meant to be our everything all the time. I think about the many times I would become upset with my hubby because he "wasn't doing something correctly" and how much time was wasted pouting about the situation, discussing the situation, and making up over the situation instead of remembering that he is not perfect. Let's face it ladies, your husband is going to fail you, in some way, some how, multiple times! My encouragement for the day is to remember that he cannot be perfect for you. He cannot give you everything you need in the exact moment you need it, ALL the time. But God can. He is the one who is meant to fill the void. God is the comforter. God is the great physician. God is the great healer and miracle worker, not our men. Look to God when you're feeling a certain way. There is absolutely nothing wrong with letting your husband know something has bothered you or maybe you need a little extra comfort, love and attention at the moment, but do not think he is going to fix all your problems exactly when you need him to. Pray for your marriages. Pray for your husbands. But don't forget to pray for yourself too. Not in a selfish way, but ask the Lord for wisdom and patience. Pray for peace and discernment. Pray about when to keep quiet and when to speak up! Pray that you will become the best wife you can for your husband. You will be a better person and your marriage will be better for it. Who can find a virtuous woman? Hopefully your husband <3 <3 <3

XOXOXO

If you’re like me then the minute your babies were born you were online looking at deals and ways to save money. I came across a lot of blog posts and articles stating if you contact this company then they will send you this product free. I thought how true is this? So I put them to the test. I took many lists from the internet and combined it into one giant list of baby product companies; I then emailed and mailed each company requesting free samples due to the birth of my twin girls. Below you will find the responses I received. Some companies were great, while others were….off putting. I included coupon codes I found o...

October 6, 2017 - The Whole World Now Knows We Are Pregnant!

Wow. This past week has been crazy. We finally told the world that we’re expecting our babies this coming spring and I’ve receiving nothing but congratulations all week long. I strategically planned out our announcement as I’m not one for personal attention. I tend to shy away and knew I would need a week of a few “congratulations” and hugs here and there before I really started to see people and be overwhelmed by hugs and questions, etc. The internet is different, I have time to respond and think about how I’m going to answer certain questions but when you’re face to face with someone you don’t have a lot of time to think and it at times can make me anxious. Any way the cat is out of the bag and everyone knows now and I’m excited to be sharing my journey now publicly. I love posting pictures and writing updates. Even if people weren’t interested in our story I think it’s a nice keepsake to look back on and remember the journey it took to get to this point and the enjoyment of pregnan...

Wedding Planner - Emergency Bridal Kit

One question I get often as a Wedding Planner is "What is in my Emergency Bridal Kit?" As a built in service for my brides I provide them an Emergency Bridal Kit on the day of their wedding. This kit includes personal care products, first aid, pain relievers, tools - anything you think you MIGHT need on the day of the wedding. These kits are custom made for each bride as no wedding is ever truly the same but most kits have a common core list of items. Because I have a wedding today I thought it would be a great idea to show you what's in Today's Bride's Emergency Kit.  Tools: Pliers Wire Cutters Measuring Tape Screw Drivers of various sizes (Flat Head & Phillips) Hammer  &/or Mallet It's amazing how many times you can say "I wish I had a screw driver or tape measure with me for this..." It's better to just be prepared because you never know what you'll be called to do or what will need some fixing. Personal...
