Another Kitty Sick :(

I have a major headache. Today didn't go the way I expected at all...

I'm wanting to get to bed knowing that if I don't go now I'll be tried in the morning but I wanted to recap my day while it's still fresh on my mind. Some of you know we've been having issues with one of our cats. My little orange kitty, Nadia. Turns out after all the tests they ran she has diabetes. She get's a shot twice a day, one in the morning and one at night. She's a little fighter and if she wants to keep fighting, then we'll keep her around for as long as we can. But I've been really worried about her lately, thinking she probably doesn't have much time left. I've been spending a lot of time just talking to her and petting her. Well I got home today and I noticed there was some blood on the floor. I thought the dog had cut his face on the fence again since he sticks it in there to try and get to the other dogs. I looked him over but he didn't have any cuts or anything and that's when I saw my Grey Kitty, Ginger, sitting really funny. I thought oh no... So quickly Eric and I rushed her to the vet (25min away - we go to a specific person. A family friend) before they closed at 7:30 and had her checked out. Doc thinks it might just be a bladder infection and gave her a 2 week antibiotic shot. He said if that's all it is, she'll start to feel better starting tomorrow. He also took blood and is going to run it to make sure that's all it is and nothing else. I sure hope a bladder infection is all we're dealing with. I hope it's not kidney failure or something like that. She is 16 years old this year but I would like to hold on to her a little bit longer. That took up most of our time and we didn't get back home until about 8:15pm.

Do you ever get to the point where you just want to sleep for the next few days? Well that's where I am except I want to sleep for through the next few months. "Wake me up when September ends." Tomorrow is going to be SUCH a busy day at work, I have a lot of research to get done for one of my brides, I need to get my "extra" room cleaned up and rearrange some things, I need to post my two other post for the 4th of July...The to-do list just never ends...

I'm ready to be done adulting for a while.

Free Samples and Offers

I wanted to get this out soon as possible as I know the Holidays are upon us and everyone is looking to save some money this time of year. This post is geared towards parents of multiples but if you have singletons please feel free to reach out to the companies below too for some free samples and offers, but please be aware some offers might not apply to you. If you’re like me then the minute your babies were born you were online looking at deals and ways to save money. I came across a lot of blog posts and articles stating if you contact this company then they will send you this product free. I thought how true is this? So I put them to the test. I took many lists from the internet and combined it into one giant list of baby product companies; I then emailed and mailed each company requesting free samples due to the birth of my twin girls. Below you will find the responses I received. Some companies were great, while others were….off putting. I included coupon codes I found o...

Wedding Planner - Emergency Bridal Kit

One question I get often as a Wedding Planner is "What is in my Emergency Bridal Kit?" As a built in service for my brides I provide them an Emergency Bridal Kit on the day of their wedding. This kit includes personal care products, first aid, pain relievers, tools - anything you think you MIGHT need on the day of the wedding. These kits are custom made for each bride as no wedding is ever truly the same but most kits have a common core list of items. Because I have a wedding today I thought it would be a great idea to show you what's in Today's Bride's Emergency Kit.  Tools: Pliers Wire Cutters Measuring Tape Screw Drivers of various sizes (Flat Head & Phillips) Hammer  &/or Mallet It's amazing how many times you can say "I wish I had a screw driver or tape measure with me for this..." It's better to just be prepared because you never know what you'll be called to do or what will need some fixing. Personal...

Buba - Paranormal Stories

Disclaimer - If you don't like ghost stories, unexplained stories, paranormal, haunted, spiritual etc. stories, I would go ahead and skip this post. Paranormal stories, story times, vlogs and cllabs are popping up like crazy on social media, especially on YouTube. Seems like the good ol' ghost stories are back. I would say I'm a typical person who enjoys a truly thrilling ghost story but then immediately regrets hearing them the minute the sun goes down. I grew up reading the Scary Stories to Tell in the dark series and watching "Are You Afraid of the Dark" on the TV just like a lot of kids who grew up in the 80s and 90s and to this day I still love talking about the unexplained. My husband on the other hand will not have anything to do with these types of stories and let's be honest he's probably the smartest person out there for not wanting to get involved. But needless to say because he doesn't want to hear my stories I've got to tell som...
