Day 2 Of My Vegetarian Life

Sorry guys, this post isn't going to be the best. I'm on a small tablet so sorry if there are grammatical and spelling errors,  or sentences dont make sense due to autocorrect.

Today is my 2nd day of my vegetarian diet. The first day went pretty well. I had lunch with a friend at Naf Naf Grill and got the hummus and pitas. It was actually pretty filling, I was impressed. I almost got a salad but had to talk myself out of it. I hate salad. Everything about it, it grass, rabbit food. Doesn't fill me up and I always start looking for something else to go with it. I don't mind it as a side but I cant make it my main dish.

So, I had hummus for lunch and wasn't hungry by dinner (hood thing too because mom made pot roast...) I had just an apple with peanut butter. That held me over until today where I had an egg burrito and an apple. I'm not really a breakfast person but I thought it would be good to start eating it because I'm taking out alot of protein and such by not eating meat. I am being good by stocking up on dairy and eggs and other high in protein foods, but I do miss my chicken. I craved it this morning (there's a chicken patty in the fridge).

Overall I think this is going well, my energy is still up, I feel good. Oh, one thing I did notice was that I didn't feel heavy or weighted down. That's a good feeling to me, especially since I know one of my problems is overeating.

On to day two!

Free Samples and Offers

I wanted to get this out soon as possible as I know the Holidays are upon us and everyone is looking to save some money this time of year. This post is geared towards parents of multiples but if you have singletons please feel free to reach out to the companies below too for some free samples and offers, but please be aware some offers might not apply to you. If you’re like me then the minute your babies were born you were online looking at deals and ways to save money. I came across a lot of blog posts and articles stating if you contact this company then they will send you this product free. I thought how true is this? So I put them to the test. I took many lists from the internet and combined it into one giant list of baby product companies; I then emailed and mailed each company requesting free samples due to the birth of my twin girls. Below you will find the responses I received. Some companies were great, while others were….off putting. I included coupon codes I found o...

My God Wants Me To Trust Him

Lately I've been feeling really worried about a procedure I have coming up. In January it seemed like such a far off thing but now as the days tick by I'm getting so nervous. I have feelings of doubt and fear; what if this doesn't work? How are we going to pay for all this? What if things go wrong? What if I die? All extremely scary stuff. But then I remember that people go through this all the time, every day. I'm going to be ok no matter the outcome because my trust is in God and not the doctors.  Psalm 37:5 Commit everything you do to the Lord; trust Him and He will help you. Psalm 56:3 - 4 Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God I will praise His word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.  Psalm 56:9 - 13 When I cry out to You, then my enemies will turn back; this I know, because God is for me. In God I will praise His Word, in the Lord I will praise His word, in God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What...

FAQ About My Twins

Multiples have always been a topic of interest for most people. When they are seen they are ohh'ed and ahh'ed over. If people get a chance there's always a few questions they love to ask. So here you go... Frequently Asked Questions about my Twins and their answers. Are they twins? Yes. Are they Identical? No. They are fraternal, meaning they came from two separate eggs fertilized by two separate sperm, aka they look different. Are they natural? Well this isn't artificial twinning here. Which one is older? Georgia by a minute if that's important to you. Do twins run in the family? This question is always hard for me to answer because the short answer is yes, my husband is a twin. The real answer is he doesn't play any part in whether or not we have twins. Every woman in the world has a chance at having identical twins. It's a matter and chance of an already fertilized egg splitting. For fraternal twins, the mother has to release two eggs at the same ...
