New Year Resolutions

New Year’s Resolutions, they seem unending. I’ve come to realize that you never truly stop needing a resolution and sometimes you need the same one year after year. Mine is forgiveness. Each year for the past three years I’ve told myself I am going to learn to forgive, and each year I get a step closer. This past year I did a Bible Study with some ladies of the Church to help me conquer this resolution. I can proudly say I’m better than where I was before but this is something that continues to be a struggle for me and therefore I just need to keep learning. Even when I do truly learn to forgive, especially when the person is not sorry, and I learn to not let it affect me, I think there are still ways to grow and be more like Christ in this area. I think a long with the forgiveness I want to be challenged to have a more Christ like attitude this year when situation arise. I may regret saying that because I may be put through fire now but I do want to be a better Christian, a more loving person, someone people can go to and know they'll receive love, truth IN love, encouragement and positivity.

I am also proud to say I checked off 3 other resolutions from last year; Becoming a Wedding Planner(Finished Christmas), Travel Somewhere I’ve Never Been(Wisconsin & Michigan), and Save X amount of $$ for a down payment on a house. This year I have some new ones, such as lose the 40lbs I’ve gained from last year. This is my main one I want to focus on. As most people already know I've started my January Vegetarian diet. I will reintroduce my body to meat (a healthy way) come February but for now I wanted to kick out all the bad stuff I was eating and that included Patio Chicken Sandwiches covered in mayo, Taco Bell Chicken Chalupas, BBQ Chicken Pizza, WINGS....the list goes on and on. Do you see a reoccurring theme? I love chicken and I love to smother it in everything that isn't good for you. So my ultimate goal is to eat as much chicken as a want but eat it in a health way so I'm still getting the nutrients but not cancelling it out by eating all the dressing that I like to put on it.

Free Samples and Offers

I wanted to get this out soon as possible as I know the Holidays are upon us and everyone is looking to save some money this time of year. This post is geared towards parents of multiples but if you have singletons please feel free to reach out to the companies below too for some free samples and offers, but please be aware some offers might not apply to you. If you’re like me then the minute your babies were born you were online looking at deals and ways to save money. I came across a lot of blog posts and articles stating if you contact this company then they will send you this product free. I thought how true is this? So I put them to the test. I took many lists from the internet and combined it into one giant list of baby product companies; I then emailed and mailed each company requesting free samples due to the birth of my twin girls. Below you will find the responses I received. Some companies were great, while others were….off putting. I included coupon codes I found o...

Wedding Planner - Emergency Bridal Kit

One question I get often as a Wedding Planner is "What is in my Emergency Bridal Kit?" As a built in service for my brides I provide them an Emergency Bridal Kit on the day of their wedding. This kit includes personal care products, first aid, pain relievers, tools - anything you think you MIGHT need on the day of the wedding. These kits are custom made for each bride as no wedding is ever truly the same but most kits have a common core list of items. Because I have a wedding today I thought it would be a great idea to show you what's in Today's Bride's Emergency Kit.  Tools: Pliers Wire Cutters Measuring Tape Screw Drivers of various sizes (Flat Head & Phillips) Hammer  &/or Mallet It's amazing how many times you can say "I wish I had a screw driver or tape measure with me for this..." It's better to just be prepared because you never know what you'll be called to do or what will need some fixing. Personal...

Buba - Paranormal Stories

Disclaimer - If you don't like ghost stories, unexplained stories, paranormal, haunted, spiritual etc. stories, I would go ahead and skip this post. Paranormal stories, story times, vlogs and cllabs are popping up like crazy on social media, especially on YouTube. Seems like the good ol' ghost stories are back. I would say I'm a typical person who enjoys a truly thrilling ghost story but then immediately regrets hearing them the minute the sun goes down. I grew up reading the Scary Stories to Tell in the dark series and watching "Are You Afraid of the Dark" on the TV just like a lot of kids who grew up in the 80s and 90s and to this day I still love talking about the unexplained. My husband on the other hand will not have anything to do with these types of stories and let's be honest he's probably the smartest person out there for not wanting to get involved. But needless to say because he doesn't want to hear my stories I've got to tell som...
