4th Of July Slime

This is my first attempt at slime!! With 4th of July being so close I was inspired to make it patriotic.

Here is what you'll need

  • Clear Glue
  • Liquid Starch
  • Red, White and Blue Confetti or Sequins
Directions
  1. Pour one bottle of glue(12oz) into a large bowl.
  2. Slowly add the liquid starch, a tiny amount at a time. Stir for a while after each amount you add.
  3. Sit together before adding more starch. Keep adding until the mixture begins to stick together and glue is no longer sticky.
  4. Add you confetti or sequins as you knead it for a few minutes.
  5. Store in an airtight container for a couple weeks (not a Ziploc bag as it is nearly impossible to get it out!!) You may need to add more liquid starch after you take it out of the container if it's too sticky.

I wanted to get this out soon as possible as I know the Holidays are upon us and everyone is looking to save some money this time of year. This post is geared towards parents of multiples but if you have singletons please feel free to reach out to the companies below too for some free samples and offers, but please be aware some offers might not apply to you. If you’re like me then the minute your babies were born you were online looking at deals and ways to save money. I came across a lot of blog posts and articles stating if you contact this company then they will send you this product free. I thought how true is this? So I put them to the test. I took many lists from the internet and combined it into one giant list of baby product companies; I then emailed and mailed each company requesting free samples due to the birth of my twin girls. Below you will find the responses I received. Some companies were great, while others were….off putting. I included coupon codes I found o...

28 Weeks Pregnancy Update

Only 10 weeks to go!! Sometimes I cannot believe how far along I am. 28 weeks, and it seems like just yesterday we were telling everyone we were pregnant. Aside from sever morning sickness in the first trimester I haven’t had any more pregnancy complications. PTL On Tuesday January 16 th we had a growth ultrasound to check on the kiddos and make sure they’re still growing on track. It was pretty routine with all the pictures they were taking. They measure their heads, stomachs, lengths of arms and legs and checked their hearts again. Everything is looking good. Both my little girls weighed 2lbs 9oz, I was kind of shocked by this because Baby B has always been my bigger baby, but A is definitely keeping up now. Baby B still measures out a little longer than A but not by much. They are 46 th and 47 th percentile. This is great news for us as now our OB is watching to make sure one or both babies don’t fall behind on the growth charts. Pregnant moms always worry about their ba...
